Change of Show and Race date

From 2018 Bradley Show and Fell Race will take place on the second Sunday in September. This is to allow greater involvement from the village school by holding the Show after the school holidays.

General Data Protection Regulations

4 September 2016 - 2016 Results

Bradley Fell Race final results can be found here.

Thank you for everyone who attended and particularly those who gave up the day to help with everything from registration, timing, marshaling and clearing the course. Without you it would be impossible to put on a race at all.

Despite the weather threatening to spoil the day, the sun shone down for the duration of the races and hopefully everyone had a great time. The new start time alongside the extended show seemed to be very popular with runners who were able to enjoy more of the show after their race. If you have any comments on how we can improve the races for next year, please drop me a line on the following email:

Further information including summit split times for the senior runners will hopefully be available shortly

20 July 2016 - Marshals wanted

A great deal of work goes into putting on the fell races and it is all done by volunteers. Many of the volunteers have children competing in the junior races, so can't always help out on some of the marshaling functions which take them away from the showfield. We are looking for 6-8 volunteers who would be prepared to give up a couple of hours of their time to ensure the safety of runners at key locations around the course; especially the two road crossings at the canal and on the heath road. Other marshals are required at a couple of gates and the turnaround points. If you think that you could help, please contact Tim Done on 01535 634871 or email email:

15 July 2016 - Bradley Show expands

Bradley Show has expanded this year, bringing more stalls, events and exhibitors. As a consequence the show starts a few hours earlier than previously, allowing the fell races; which are an integral part of the show, to be staged earlier in the day. This allows competitiors and their families to enjoy a greater part of the show once their races are over. We hope that this will prove to be a popular decision on behalf of the show committee and we would welcome your comments about any aspects of the show or the fell races.

10 July 2016 - Bradley Fell Race new website

Welcome to the new website for Bradley Fell Race. For the last 10 years, Bradley Fell Race has been organised by Tim Done who was also webmaster and latterly chairman of the British Open Fell Runners Association. All information regarding the race was held on the BOFRA website. After moving on from BOFRA this year, Tim has set up the new website to be more specific to his race and to remove some of the admin burden from BOFRA. The website will contain all of the basic details in the first instance and will be updated over the coming weeks/months. If you are looking for anything specifically, you can contact Tim or go to the BOFRA website www.BOFRA.org.uk.

The new fell race website also coincides with the introduction of a new website for Bradley Show at www.bradleyshow.org.uk as part of its continued development (the website will be up and running shortly). The show starts earlier this year, includes many new stalls, events and features and incudes a party in the park event on the Saturday night. There is something for everyone, so check out the website and facebook pages.
